Week 6: October 17
Current status of project:
We are set to begin writing a draft of our software. We are still conducting literature searches on ECG computational analysis design methods, which will be the trickiest part of our code. We have recognized several issues we may run into, such as simulation/run time, which we will keep in mind as we peruse current existing code and research.
Work completed in the last week:
We conducted a literature/textbook search for ECG analysis algorithms. We had difficulty finding texts specific to computational analysis, and confronted our mentor for suggestions for a more refined search. We edited our design schedule and plan to begin writing the “framework” of the software, leaving room for the ECG analysis component, which can be added at a later time.
Work planned for next week:
Anything needed from mentor/client or TA or instructor to continue work:

Work planned for next week:
- Continue literature/textbook searches for ECG computational analysis
- Research current existing code that can be implemented into our software
- Write the “framework” of our software (outline our code)
- Write a draft of our progress report
Anything needed from mentor/client or TA or instructor to continue work:
- Nothing at this time.
